Are you good enough just the way you are? The answer is both 'Yes' and 'No'. In an age of confusion and liquidity it is difficult to ascertain what you are, who you are and just where on earth you are going. You are bombarded with the opposing messages of being 'good enough' and 'not good enough'. Yet, there is one ever constant, that constant is you, and that you is constantly awaiting self-acceptance and self-improvement.

Great evening. I will say what I thought concerning the topic. I agree with this contradiction. Just as Something can not come from nothing, and yet, here we are. Our identity is connected intimately with our perceived universe. The very fact that we can perceive it means that it is a part of us and it wholly exists in our minds in the form of imagination. This all does not occur in the past nor in the future but always in the present moment. Therefore the present moment is what we should focus on in our meditation. The present moment is the savior of the past giving birth to the future where we all live on the hills and eat fruit. The problem with being good enough is that it is a conclusion, which is intellectual form of death, and the problem with not good enough, is the probably accompanying feelings of imperfection, guilt, shame etc. The good thing about good enough is there is no longer a striving. The good thing about not good enough is the pure potential. But as the presenter defines good enough, I have to agree, that I am all that I am up to this present moment, as I have completed my past, one could say I am therefore perfect. If that is how one defines perfect. (Correct me if I am wrong in this wording) Thanks for the event!
Perfect evening ! Enjoyed the speaker and always appreciate these events!
Just wanted to say that I always enjoy the presentations and I believe this was one that if received as given could lead to some real "deliverance" for those who are bound by the "what ifs" and "if onlies".
My one concern, and it is true of all the C2Q sessions is the domination of one particular (old man) who seems to have to comment on everything, and with his "word studies" and "observations" could be seen to be "stealing the thunder" from the speaker himself. I know that he determines beforehand to "bite his tongue" but I also know he actually feels a 'stimulation' in the discussion itself that comes to him as an "illumination" or even "inspiration" as it were.
And I also wanted to share that in discussions with a few others since Saturday night, I wish they could grasp the liberating truth that they do not have to beat themselves up for what they have perceived to be their "failures" as parents, or business persons etc because of the way they have handled things in the past. If they could understand that they did what they did the way they did because of who they were and what they did know and did not know in that moment, or time frame.
Thanks for your presentation and the others in the past and forthcoming.

You are not that old, old friend. Your words and perspective are always welcome. I am glad to hear the encouragement to live a life free of the 'what if's' . Self-accept and self-improve. Amor Fati
